چکیده
Abstract The research focuses on the Klapanunggal Formation, composed of limestone in West Java Basin, specifically area, District, Bogor Regency, Province. A massive outcrop was found this location. method used is field data collection, stratigraphic cross-section measurement, and petrographic analysis. It aims to determine facies characteristics, depositional environment, association Formation. results obtained from macroscopic microscopic descriptions resulted six (6) facies: Skeletal Wackestone, Packstone, Benthic Foram Grainstone, Rudstone, Coral Bindstone. Then, are classified into associations, resulting three (3) associations: Platform Interior (Open Marine), Margin Reef, Slope.

Association of the Flow Units with Facies Distribution, Depositional Sequences, and Diagenetic Features: Asmari Formation of the Cheshmeh-Khush Oil Field, SW Iran
The Oligo-miocene Asmari formation is one of the most important hydrocarbon reservoirs in the southwest of Iran. In order to evaluate reservoir quality and the factors controlling reservoir properties, detailed geological and petrophysical studies were carried out on 242 m of core samples from Asmari reservoir. This study is a part of a larger project that examines depositional history and rese...
متن کاملRelationship Between Depositional Facies and Reservoir Characteristics of the Oligo-Miocene Asmari Formation, Aghajari Oilfield, SW Iran
The present study focuses on facies analysis and the reservoir characteristics of the Asmari Formation in the Aghajari oilfield (located in the Zagros fold-thrust belt, southwest Iran), and how they are linked to depositional environments and reservoir characteristics. This formation consists of about 380 m carbonates with some siliciclastic intercalations. Based on the integration of 1200 m of...
متن کاملFacies and Facies Architecture of the IvaniÊ Grad Formation (Upper Pannonian) - Sava Depression, NW Croatia
The Sava depression represents the most southern part of the Pannonian basin (Fig. 1). After the Middle Eocene, a long continental phase started in the area represented by the present depression, during which tectonic movements occurred and a fault network was created along which the basin subsided by extension. The oldest proven sediments belong to the fresh-water Ottnangian deposits which are...
متن کاملMicrofacies analysis and depositional environment of the Fahliyan Formation (Lower Cretaceus), Abadan plain, West South of Iran (Arvand-field)
The Fahliyan Formation of Khami Group is hosting important hydrocarbon reserves in Iran and also is a main reservoir rock in the Abadan Plain oil fields which is Neocomian in age. In the studied wells its thickness is about 406 meters. In the Abadan Plain, the Fahliyan Formation transitionally overlies of the Garau Formation and its upper boundary changes into the Gadvan Formation. According to...
متن کاملEocene Stratigraphy, Facies, Sequenses and Depositional History in Shabraweet Area, North of Suez, Eastern Desert, Egypt
The Eocene rocks in Shabraweet area comprise the Lower, Middle and Upper Eocene stages. Each stage consists of only one rock unit; the Minia Formation, the Mokattam Formation and the Maadi Formation, respectively. The Minia Formation shows angular unconformity relationship with the underlying Cretaceous rocks and disconformity relationship with the overlying Mokattam Formation. The Maadi Format...
